The store installed it and it never worked from the first time you operated it. I'm shocked you even paid $140 for someone to look at it. Either there is something wrong with the dishwasher or it was installed incorrectly.

On a side note when installing a dishwasher there is usually a drain plug/screw that needs to be removed. When my dishwasher was installed the entire cycle would run fine however there would be 1-2cm of water in the bottom of the washer.

The tech from Trail came and looked at it (for free) and was done in 30 seconds.
Well, I sure have wouldn't have paid for it, but I was at work and my wife was at home and usually avoids confrontation. Someone else mentioned the drain plug, but I would kinda hope a tech would have checked for that...
