Default Dishwasher Woes

So I am absolutely stumped and have no idea what to do...hoping to rack the collective CP braintrust for some ideas...

I bought a new Bosch dishwasher in January to replace an old dishwasher. It was delivered and installed through the store I purchased it through. We go to run it the first time, get an error code, and phone Bosch. They say we need a tech to come out and check it out. Phone the contracted tech company here in town, they come out, seem to believe its a blocked drainage line, charge us $140 bucks since its not a warranty issue, and told us to call a plumber.

We call a plumber who confirms there is no problem within the line and he believes its the dishwasher is to blame. I phone the tech back who now thinks it may be because the pump can't pump the 8 feet to the sink which I find hard to believe considering it's (allegedly) a high end dishwasher.

We had no problems with our previous dishwasher or our previous line so barring them messing something up during install, I am lead to believe that its obviously the dishwasher that isn't working. I am hesitant to phone the tech back as he's already confident its not the dishwasher and I really have no interest in paying another $140 for him to come out to say its fine.

Speaking with Bosch, they (obviously) leave the determination up to the technician which doesn't help me much either. So do I just return this thing? Its a tad ridiculous we've had three people come out (installers, tech, plumber) and I've had this dishwasher for a month and it still doesn't work. I'm tempted just to return it and say #### it. Do I continue to harass the tech? Try another appliance company? Try to speak to the retailer?
