Thanks, this is basically what I was thinking of when I selected Toews as a comparable. They show similar mentality and attitude towards responsible play. I realize that Monahan doesn't have nearly the hands that Toews does, but it's his first season in the NHL after all - and once he gets some confidence with the puck and experience he'll start to get a little more creative.
Right now he's already showing that elite hockey sense that was so lauded back in the days approaching the draft, once he develops better puck-handling and confidence we'll start to see some great vision plays from Moneyhands. We're already seeing his incredible finishing instinct.
Right now his signature move is to somehow ninja into the slot out of nowhere and undetected, and either receive a pass or swat at a loose puck and it ends up in the net.
