Ukrainian Navy flagship Hetman Sahaidachny has reportedly refused orders from Kiev and defected to the Russian side a Russian senator has claimed in an interview with Ivestia Daily.

Interesting if true, or could be just propaganda. How would the west view the warship? Is it still considered to be owned by Ukraine, Would it be considered a prize under Admirality law since this occured in international waters? From what I understand from wikipedia "Under contemporary international law and treaties, nations may still bring enemy vessels before their prize courts, to be condemned and sold." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prize_(law
