Anyone want to change their vote? or complain that the Canes picked Lindholm or that the Flames didn't tank for Seth Jones?
I was pretty clear in preferring Monahan #6 and Nichushkin #10 over Lindholm #5
Right now the top forwards drafted , outside of Drouin #3 and Horvat #9, are running pretty close to form. It seems pretty clear that Monahan was the best centre available at the 6th spot. I think the Flames were lucky that he fell through to 6. Would have the Flames picked Lindholm or Nichushkin had Monahan been picked in the #5 slot?
The Canes have Lindholm playing on the wing with Jordan Staal and Skinner.
Monahan has had Hudler and Baertschi/Colbourne
Nichushkin has Seguin and Benn (doesn't hurt his numbers)
Mackinnon has had no regular linemates... played the most with Landeskog, ROR and Duschene
Barkov has Brad Boyes and Bergenheim on his wings
