Thought Granlund looked solid for his first NHL game. Showed good jump, wasn't overmatched physically, was good defensively, and even managed a couple shots on net. Hope he sticks for awhile.

Ortio was solid positioning wise -- a few big rebounds, but he kept the puck out. The only negative was on both goals, the puck seemed to go through him (he either had it or could have had it in his pads, but it got jammed in). Part of that sits on the Calgary defence, but Ortio also has to get stronger in the crease against NHLers. That should come with time.

Still, it was a very nice touch by the organization to recognize Regehr.
I believe Bouwmeester was recognized in a similar fashion (during a commercial break -- don't know if he got a video montage) -- however, he was only here for 3.5 seasons. Reggie played 10+ years and was as deserving of recognition as Iggy was IMO.

I agree the fact that he's been gone for a few years played a role as well...
