I have no sympathy for anyone speeding in a school zone. 11 over on Deerfoot? It would hardly be noticed. But exceeding the speed limit by 36% in school zone? They can snap those photos all day for all I care as the sole purpose of a school zone is abundantly clear.
I got a photo radar in a playground zone once. It was an area that I wasn't familiar with, I didn't see the sign, etc. It took me a minute or two to even remember that I was in that area on that day. None of which are valid excuses, so I just took it on the chin and paid it. It was fully deserved.
