While I agree with everyone that driving in the right lane except to pass is the way to drive, it is frustrating when you are with someone who is doing about the same speed or just a little under/over you. I really don't think this is a big deal. Again, drive in the right lane except to pass, but two cars going close to the same speed with no one else around? Really a big deal for them to be in both lanes? I don't think so. And not too much to ask for the guy who wants to turn and is not in the left lane to simply get behind the guy in the left lane just before the turn.
