Absolutely not.
That's why a few of us have mentioned that if this is in Canada, that guy could be in big trouble.
Transportation of a restricted firearm (in this case a handgun), has quite a few requirements, including, being unloaded, locked up, with ammunition stored seperately, and a transportation permit to either take it to a designated range, or gunsmith.
Pretty clear none of those rules were followed in this case, so if this is in Canada, the guy is in BIG trouble.
Of course if it's in any of the states with EXTREMELY lax carry laws, then the guy wasn't breaking any laws before he shot the moose.
