I just want to be sure that this is ok. Is it acceptable (or is it in violation of the paper's sharing practices) for me to post the following on Facebook:

This is kind of an odd request. However it only takes about 30 seconds of your time. A colleague of mine wrote an open letter about the Biggest Loser Iceland (he's a contestant on the show). It outlines the differences between the US version and the Icelandic version and details how well supported they are on the Icelandic version as well as given supports for a healthy lifestyle. This is to help the Icelandic show and combat the negative press that it is unjustly getting because of the sensationalized American version.

To help increase readership of the letter on one of the local media outlets he needs people to click the article and press the Facebook icon that says Mæla með. This will help bump it up and keep it in the "must read" section of the site, and help increase exposure.
