$3500 per year for each vehicles. We average about 120 kms/day traveling back and forth to work (60 kms per vehicle). When we lived in SW Calgary, it was about 40-50 kms per day for two vehicles.
And remember, we are just talking about gas... as the vehicles are now being used twice as much, maintenance costs have doubled, tires last half as long, etc. etc.
