I love it here. I see wildlife all the time.. deer, coyotes, foxes, hawks, etc. Its quiet. No big city continual traffic noise, except for the occasional train that rolls through town and of course blows its whistle half a dozen times in the middle of the night.
I'm a 10 minute walk to the Sheep River. I go there often with my dogs. They love it.
Rarely do I go to Calgary to shop. We have almost everything here... except perhaps a Future Shop of Best Buy. Would be nice if one of those set up shop here.
Over all it was a pretty good decision to move her... except...
For the amount of gas that my wife and I use on a monthly basis for our commute to work five days a week.. We both work in the south part of Calgary but its still costs us approximately $600 per month for two vehicles... yep thats right folks.... $600!!! Thats about $7000 per year!!!
Needless to say we will probably be moving back to Calgary sometime during the next year or so (want to do some reno upgrades on the house before we sell).

How much, percentage wise, has/will the value of you house gone up in the 4-5 yrs?
