They did beat Russia. After watching 5 to 6 games of each team in this tourney, I'm feeling pretty confident the best two teams this year are Canada and the US, and that result would likely hold up in 7 game series.

That said, I agree both Russia and Sweden did also show well and would not be easy wins for either country, and could definetley upset one of Canada or the US.

The point being, the assembly of the US team was done very well, and moronic arguments suggesting their 4th place result in the games is a negative reflection on Burke's abilities to run the Flames is just that, a moronic argument.
