I don't think they will. There is a real sense that NHL contract guys get first dibs. Last time, with Heemskerk, they had no intention on playing him even though that was a back-to-back situation as well.

It's nice to know Aaron Dell is good if the wheels fall off, but he shouldn't get to play until such a thing happens.
