My question is: what does supposed theft of "their" land have to do with ripping up roads, cutting off power to people who had nothing to do with the supposed robbery, and terrorizing those same random passersby?

How are these people not in jail? Why is this allowed? If I gathered my white, University educated buddies for a protest, and we did something similar, we'd be in jail and villified. Why is it OK for natives to do this?
