Russia in 2014, South Korea 2018, almost certainly Europe 2022 (Oslo is a favorite). Going back to North America seems a likelihood. The US hasn't shown much interest in a Winter bid, but perhaps a place like Denver or Reno-Tahoe could step up. I'd think they're more interested in a Summer 2024 bid. In Canada, Quebec City still has an Alpine ski problem (no adequate mountain) and Toronto has already indicated they won't seek 2024.

Are the stars aligned? Is it worth it? Is it too soon to Vancouver? Would Calgarians support a bid? Only realistic chance for new arena and stadium?
