If Quebec and Seattle come in and pick 1-2 in the McDavid Eichel draft that would be so brutal. Never mind the ####ty expansion draft, if I recall correctly we were forced to trade Giguere or lose him for nothing last time around.

Only going by memory, but isn't it usually the case that expansion teams draft last, not first?
Hardly fair to let new teams walk in and go right to the front of the line.
I do recall that Winnipeg drafted last in 1979 (and took the awesome Jimmy Mann
) for sure.
And I do not recall any expansion team ever drafting first.
