Albert Pujols is dominating like never before. 22 HR's puts him on pace for 82, which would shatter the record of 73 held by Bonds. He is also on pace for 203 RBI's.

What is even more impressive is how little he strikes out. He has just 12 K's to his name.

I don't think any full-time player has had a season with more Homeruns than strikeouts.

An .805 slugging % after 149 at-bats, the next closest player in that category with at least 100 at-bats is Alex Rios with .667%.

If he continues to hit HR's like this, we should be in for a great chase at the end of the season. Bonds' record could be in trouble.
