The school was in the paper, for bad reasons, for having a school sanctioned silent assassin game weeks after Columbine. There were multiple teams (ours named LaCosta Nostra) that would get the names of people on the other teams. You would shoot them with a dart gun and then go and get a new name. If you were hit you were out.
In grade 10 there was a huge Lebanese vs. Pakistani battle that led to tonnes of fights, suspensions and expulsions. One fight resulted in someone being tossed through the window of the Rusty Cage Bar near by.

I was there in 01-02 and 02-03. Things weren't that crazy there at that time, other than the one time someone lit a box on fire, threw in a garbage can and tossed the garbage can in the girls change room. There was also a time I witnessed a social studies teacher buying weed off someone I knew. There was so many people that were doing drugs there. Fun times.
I'm glad that dump got bulldozed.
