Can someone explain to me why Canada would put two rocks in the house up 9-8 with hammer in the 10th end? Seems to me that if you just throw them through the house, you make two doubles and/or ticks and then all you have to do is peel everything Germany throws, and worst comes to worst you should have a fairly open draw. I have watched quite a bit of curling, but I still don't really understand why the top teams seem to give their opponents more chances than they need to.
