Totally False:
I've watched Johnny from High School - USHL - Juniors - BC.
Johnny line does not get much PP time.
Coach York has alot of freshman to get ready for a championship run. Even at the start of the season he had the Gaudreau-Arnold-Hayes line split to have these guys play on lines with freshman to help grow players. Throughout the seaon, esp since the G_A_H line was put together, PP time has been giving to other line to help develop confidence in other lines to score. Does this mean G_A_H line never plays PP, absolutly no.
They get pp time if :
Losing or tied late in a game.
Their line is due up anyway
Or 4 on 4 (not really pp)
I would imagine with Trophy Time coming up, you will see a major pump in that lines PP time. You have to think, York's team is good enough to make the tourney without having G_A_H line in the PP, so why not use the first 60% of the season to help get point in other kids pockets. He's stated one of his major concerns on the season (in regards to win a championship) is young def n goalie (which now is solid) and relying on 1 line to do all the scoring.
