Ah yes, there is nothing quite like being on an internet discussion forum, reading posts from 20-somethings, that they posted on their phones, while sitting in a coffee shop, whining about how tough they've got it.
The world today is vastly superior to what it was at the onset of the 60s. Of course there are problems - some of which are very serious. But there have always been problems. Humans aren't perfect. The boomers generation improved the world substantially, as did their parents' generation, as did their parents'.
And they did it their way - they did what was best for them and their families, what mattered to them, just as prior generations did.
Each new generation only sees what is right in front of them, and every generation thinks they have it tough. And they blame their parents. But in time, they/you will see the bigger picture. You will start to deal with the issues that matter to you (as opposed to simply complaining). And you will start shape the world as you see fit.
And then your children will whine that they have it tough. And then you will smile and understand.
