I agree coach of the year is a stretch... but man the negative, anti-staff and player BS that runs rampant here... considering they are playing at or above their level and finding ways to compete should be cause for congratulations! Maybe some people want to try to swing the pendulum the other way for a change, it gets kind of depressing to see the negativity in here, and for those of us who seem to realize what a rebuild entails... this is not even close to the worst it is likely to get. You might want to plan a vacation next year.

All Henry Fool is saying here is that it
is the first year of a rebuild; there will be a few highs and a lot of lows (hopefully not too many Lowes
). Proclaiming Hartley as a Jack Adams candidate during the highs is probably an overreaction, as is wanting his head during the lows. It seems like most here are happy, to varying degrees, with the job Bob Hartley has done with the compete level. Especially with guys like Backlund, Bouma, Brodie, Giordano, Russell etc. I am generally of the same opinion, but coach of the year? Kinda hard to gauge for a bottom-five team.
