Personally, I wouldn't even think of giving Hartley some kind of an award for the season either, even though I've mostly liked what he's doing.
I was actually most impressed with him during the last losing streak, since looking at his interviews and the players interviews I felt that the atmosphere seemed to be pretty good, all things considered, and I think that's very important, especially for us right now. (Didn't post about it, because I didn't really feel like arguing about it.)
All that said, you don't give awards for being a good sport. As for the results, it's hard to say much about them. IMO we're about where we should be, looking at our roster. A couple of spots here or there doesn't really change much.
Mostly what this season has proven is that there's never an excuse to be last in the league. You have to be truly special for that.
