I've got two tattoos, though I plan to get more. One is a Chinese/Western style dragon on my left shoulder. It's actually a Water Dragon from the Chinese Zodiac, because the year my son was born made him a Water Dragon. Sadly, none of the pictures I have do it any justice.
The other is simply Allons-y on my right forearm. If you get it, you get it. If you don't, you arent as big of a nerd as I am. I want to fill the rest of my right arm with various references to Dr Who in due time, but finding the right pieces, and where to pit them, and what to use as fill has stumped me thus far.
I am also toying with the idea of part of my skin being torn away to reveal text, like newsprint, underneath. The script is a reference to a few books that have heavily impacted my life. The only thing holding me back is finding the proper artist to do it.

Definitely get someone good for that last one. I knew a guy who had that done (only revealing a scuba diving flag under his skin instead of text). It was a cool tattoo (and I generally don't like tattoos) but definitely not the kind of thing you'd want to trust to anyone but a really skilled artist. Otherwise I could see how it could look terrible, or just plain confusing - like someone had glued shreds if newspaper to you.
