Monahan better or at least equal to Backlund in the physical game and defense pretty equal. He also thinks the game a lot better and you can see that by him putting himself into situations to score.
He might not be better now (arguable) but hard to see he won't be much better by next year and beyond.
As much as Chris O'Sullivan gets crap for his hate (and it is over the top) the love for Backlund is just as tiresome from other posters.
