I thought the Flames played well last night (Although I am not sure whether it was so much a product of the Flames playing well, San Jose playing horribly, or a bit of both). Ramo did a great job, but I don't recall him having to make too many remarkable saves. (San Jose's goal was not his fault at all, it was most definitely confusion and/or the players were exhausted at the end of that shift.)
I can't be the only one to notice the lack of hustle back to the bench when the Flames were changing on the fly, and as great as they played, the two biggest culprits I noticed all night were Giordano and Brodie.
I am still happy with the result, as it let me rub it in to my cousin, who brought me and my son to the game, because he was cheering for San Jose.
