Not at all, it was evidence of something I never once declared untrue. I know Backlund's personal coaches are the ones who helped him get over his woes, and I have yet to argue any different.
My argument is simple: Hartley inspired Backlund's extra effort and desire to improve because of limited ice time and benchings. Backlund went to his coaches when his playing time was suffering because of his performance. Give me evidence that isn't true and I'll apologise.
If Hartley had just given Backlund prime playing time despite his performance, there likely wouldn't have been much need to improve.
I'm not even about giving Hartley most of the credit, but zero credit? Come on now. You'd just have to have something against Hartley to believe that to be true.
