To keep Cammalleri, Burke will have to give him a big raise and convince him that the Flames will win a Cup before Cammalleri retires and that Cammalleri wants to be like Lanny or Ray Bourque and win in his last year.Is it worth it for Cammalleri to take that risk? Not on a long term contract, but on a 1 year contract, maybe. I could live with keeping him around for one more year, just to have that 1st line winger helping to teach the young guns how to be a 1st liner, and helping the team reach the cap floor.
