Deck mud.

Buy sand and type 10 cement. Dry mix at 4 pts sand to 1 pt cement. Add (minimal) water, remix, dump it in the hole and trowel out your pre-slope.
Cost? < $60.
Install a "Kerdi drain" (~$70). Let cure overnight.
Apply a topical sheet membrane, using thinset.

Cost? < $40.

Buy 9 sheets of 12" x 12" x 2" mosaics and set the floor of the shower. Cost? Depends on where you source the tile, but many places will have "end of stock" for < $2.00 a foot; so basically $20 will cover a small pan. Buy a small tub of Acrylic Grout and grout the joints (~$30).
There you go, shower pan for about $220 bucks and it looks a whole lot better over time than will a ####ty piece of plastic. Fiberglass is optimal, but you're looking at no less than $450 for a 32" x 32". The plastic ones are crap. Steer clear.
