Not a knock on you - collecting is fun and I definitely can't point fingers when it comes to frivolous clothing expenses. Just a different philosophy I guess.

I know, and I don't neccesarily diagree with you. In the next couple years, I will pull the trigger on my dream watch Seamaster XL Chrono, maybe as a 40th b-day gift to me, from me. I am just really scared to jump into this territory, as I know it could get real expensive, real fast, once one $5000 watch isn't enough.
However the gap in a $5000 Omega, and a $900 Seiko Diver, isn't worth 4.5 times the price. About half of it, is cache IMO.
