SOB is a fail, he needed to fight more and show more aggression. Now all we are using them for is the keep the cap good. The cap problem should be the least of our worries.. We can sign free agents and overpay them easily.

There is so much wrong with this logic. If we overpay FAs, then we're in the same position.
I don't have the numbers, but I think D. Jones produces more than Tanguay.
No guarantee we could have gotten anything else or different for Tanguay.
