He has size and maybe can develop seems like a pretty terrible reason to play someone at the NHL level. Especially when you consider how awful he has looked in his short time here and lack of impressive play in his career up to this point.
I guess like anyone else out there it is possible that he dramatically improve but I would prefer to bring in guys that don't need to be the exception to the rule and are expected to improve/perform based on their skills and ability not on random luck.
