“I'm not getting mocked, but I hear about it every day,” said Monahan, who follows the account and does have his own (@Monahan20).

“I think it was funny at the start, but now it's kinda getting old or getting a little annoying. Other than that, it's fine.”

To date, the Flames have monitored the account, and are thankful what's been said hasn't been filled with profanities or tales of questionable or illegal activities, as the case with some accounts for celebrities.

Then again, a theory that's made the rounds in the Saddledome is that somebody with the team is behind it.

But boring?

“It's just a face for you guys,” stated Jiri Hudler, who opened his home to the club's young star for a while this season. “In the room, he's fun to be around.

“Sometimes he's shy, but as soon as you get to know him more, he's pretty funny. At least he tries to be.”
