He does seem to be understanding it more now and is starting to embrace his time in the AHL and that he can use it as a learning experience to be a better NHLer.
He himself mentioned that he needed to continue to work to get stronger mentally at least 3 times in that interview and I think the perceived mental weakness is what a lot of people mention him needing to work on.
Personally when I reference his bad attitude it is usually in relation to the claim's that Sven did not feel he should have had to attend prospect camp in the summer and what I felt was an attitude that made it seem like he thought he was above some of the other prospects when interviewed.
The time in the AHL and the glowing comments about his teammates in Abbotsford (alot of the same players from prospect camp) shows to me that he is improving in that area though and may have learned from a previous error.
Will add that it did seem like he had a little bit of an edge against the management team for his treatment while in Calgary but if he can channel that the right way and use that as motivation there is nothing wrong with it. Nobody should be happy about being sent to the farm team.
