I disagree. There's a difference between giving up on a guy and trading him for a bag of pucks and trading him to get a player the organization wants/needs. I'm not saying the Flames should trade him but if Burke gets an offer where the return is high value and will help the Flames going forward I think you trade him.
That said unless the return is very good I would prefer the organization sticks with him and gives him a chance to succeed.
