Look at the Bernier, Bishop, Scrivins (EDM) and Mason deals. Those 4 deals right now seem like a better value for the teams getting the goalie than the Ramo one to Calgary. Between Ramo and Berra, Calgary appears to have given up quite a bit of leverage in trades and it doesn't look like either of them will be the long term solution.

I don't know. I don't like to devalue 2nd round picks but they are regularly used as trade currency (Kings gave up two for Robyn Regehr) and at the time I expect Feaster was hoping Ramo could become starter material. Like Burke said in that other thread you have to go for it and if you think a guy can be a starter a 2nd round pick is a small price. Hindsight is 20/20 of course and we can see Ramo is probably better suited for a backup but I don't see that as a disaster or anything and Bourque was becoming a cancer that the team needed to address and if Cammalleri fetches a 1st round pick it easily cancels out the 2nd given up in that deal.
