In fairness, the UHL was a low-level league. And referencing the other poster, the Whiskey Jacks weren't AAA baseball. They were indy league baseball. If anything will succeed in Thunder Bay, it will be the AHL, which is unquestionably the highest level of hockey the city will ever see. There are no guarantees, of course, as minor league teams tend to be nomadic for a reason. Support can often be fleeting.
