Why is this embarrassment of reporter Bruce Dowbiggin is still around? I thought he already dissapeared and moved somewhere? I was watching the Global Morning News and they were talking about the suspension of Torts and Hartley getting fined. Then they should Burkie's comment about how he backs up his coach and so and so. Then they showed Dowboy's interview and he was saying Burkie out to get the Canucks because he doesn't like them and he was fired by them before. I just thought, "What the F is he talking about?" I cannot stand Dowboy as much as Eric Francis and Steve Simmons.
I thought Torts got off easy with just 6 games but I guess I am fine with it. As for Hartley, I still think there was no intention of starting the brawl until Torts countered with his goons. I think the reason why he got fined was having to put Westgarth to take the face-off. If Blair Jones, which is a centre on that line took the faceoff, Hartley probably didn't get penalized.
