I am terrible when it comes to networking so I am in need of some help as I can't figure it out on my own the past two nights.
My setup
Shaw Cisco router in bridge mode - Airport Extreme Router - 3 devices
I keep getting a possible double NAT error on my router and Airvideo configuration.
Airvideo I have setting clicked to automatically map Port. This setting only seems to work when the Airport Extreme is in Bridge mode as well.
I have an Laview 960h home surveillance cameras that I am trying to hook up. I can see them on my desktop LAN client but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get everything set up for remote viewing, mainly the iOS app that seems very straight forward. In order to attempt port mapping I need to enabld DCHP/NAT to share a public IP. However the moment I do that I can't access Airvideo anymore and then I get the double NAT error on the router. Here is link to system
http://laviewusa.com/complete-survei...v-kdv1402b6bp/
The ports needed for the surveillance system are 80,8000,8554. The port Airvideo runs on if I don't select automatic Map is 45631.
Can someone please help me out and getting all of this hooked up! The surveillance system comes with no networking instructions and says it is supposed to be straight forward.
****Well it turns out I am an idiot and had the wrong app download. I can now see my live feed while I am on wifi but cannot see the feed while on 3g. If I was to guess it would be because I am using the local IP address of 192.168.0... and not an external IP address. How would I go about setting it up for external?***
