The problem is, to me at least, is that he came across like a Sean Avery-type character after the game. Just bad sportsmanship. If he said that stuff before the game, whatever. It's a competition.
After though, when you've just won the game, and the object of your tirade is sitting silent in the other locker room, it just seemed childish.
One thing we had drummed into us in hockey (which obviously has a different culture) was Don't Do That.
Of course it still happened. The damn "shake hands line" was when the gloating was usually done, but you always got heat from the coach if he heard you.

Exactly. I would like to see Sherman go and shake an opponents hand after he loses. Highly doubt it happens. He just uses the "shake hands" excuse to justify all of his actions, he just good at trolling is all.
The top things Sherman is remembered/known for:
1) Taunting Tom Brady
2) Getting punched by Trent Williams (redskins) (after taunting him)
3) Asserting he was better at being a human being than Skip Bayless
4) Going off on an absolute PR disaster tirade after the NFCCG that painted him as a sore winner
5) Patting Harbaugh on the butt and then running away as fast as he could and complaining that his former coach who (I would argue) never saw him failed to validate his performance in the game or butt-slapping
The common denominator to all of this? Richard Sherman.
If he just shut-up and played football, he would be recognized (and rightfully so) for his skills.
He's like Alex Burrows times 10!
Haha sorry for all the posts, but as a lone Niner fan and all these Seahawks fans I gotta defend myself!
