.500 may not look that great, but when he's 8th all time in playoff wins, that means he's amongst the best in winning the important games. If that doesn't make him a big game QB, then you really can't say anyone all time aside from few like Brady, Montana, Bradshaw, Aikman, and Elway to name some; and the last one had trouble winning the "Big Game" in his earlier attempts. By your criteria, Rodgers couldn't be considered a big game QB. Neither could Brees. Manning would be a bigger game QB (granted, you could say he is).
Also in regards to you're earlier edit, he's .500 in the super bowls currently. This is his 3rd one.
