Actually I think history tends to favor the team with the number 1 offence as being more likely to win the Superbowl than not. It's just that teams like the 18-0 Patriots and Mike Martz Rams recently lost so that tends to stick in our minds.

Seattle still put up 23 points against what is a very ferocious 49'er defence. This same defence held Green Bay with it's weapons in place to 20 points at home. I'm sorry Bronco fans, but the Bronco's defence is nowhere near what the 49'er unit is like especially without Von Miller. But the one thing the Bronco defence did, was pretty much eliminate the running game for two opponents who did want to run the ball. So I do think a lot of that game is going to be in Russel Wilson's hands, and it will be his ability to make plays on offence that decide if Seattle has a chance in this game, or are methodically swept aside in games where the final score ended up looking close, but the game was never in doubt the way the Chargers and Patriots both were.
