Could be. I am hoping for more of a discount, but $3.5 million now doesn't buy what it did back when we originally re-signed him. Plus, this team is going to handing out some juicy contracts due to being to low on the cap going into next season. Stajan may benefit from that.
I guess if you have to overpay a few players for cap floor reason, it might as well be one that is well liked among his team.
