I don't dissagree, but you are incorrectly identifying the problem. The problem is not "we aren't inserting enough young talent" by choice, we aren't inserting enough young talent, because as you point out, we don't have enough.

Having Horak "plug" a role during this rebuild is not a positive thing. He's simply not good enough, and being excited because we have him in the line up simply because he's young is silly. We need to acquire more young talent that pushes the crappy vets we have on this team out of jobs. Playing young players who aren't good enough to do that doesn't help our rebuild, in fact it hurts it because it lowers the quality of team mates our few good prospects (like Monahan and Brodie) have to play with and learn from.
