I'd say it depends heavily on what Burke's plans are with those three. If he sees any of them as a viable NHL player or even a solid farm hand, I'm not sure he'd expose them to waivers. I'm sure there are a lot of AHL bottom feeders who would gladly welcome Street on their team.

My guess is Jones is the most likely to get exposed to waivers and sent down. I don't imagine a lot of teams want a small player like Byron, unless they want him for AHL help.

To Monahan's development or to the team? Because the team wouldn't lose sleep if he was sent down to help them with a playoff run.

Way I see it, playing time, no matter whether it's in the NHL or AHL, would be good for Monahan. He'd be a top line player for the Heat too.
