Question.
If Byron, Jones and Street stay with the Flames for the rest of the season, would management send them through waivers to play with the Heat in the playoffs, or would they just be considered "NHLers" at that point and let them start their off seasons?
Also, could/would the Flames send Monahan down to the Heat for playoffs, or is that not allowed....and if it is allowed would they even bother because, again, he simply considered an "NHLer" at this point?
