Nothing too unexpected, but the article states it was likely he was radicalized in Calgary by elements of the local community. Furthermore, the lead imam of the Al Madina Calgary Islamic Centre didn't deny that fanatics do exist and are brainwashing kids. Clairmont's name came up when CSIS targeted a local extremist group.
Scarier stuff when it hits close to home.
