This is not my arm but this is possibly the watch I am going to wear for the next 10 years of my life seeing as how the last time I wore one, I used it on and off 10 years as well.
I was walking through Wal-Mart and stopped dead in my tracks when I saw that Casio was manufacturing their old watches again. This is the A158W which is exactly the same watch I wore from Grade 2 to Grade 12 (strap changes of course) until the glass was smashed. It's sleek. It's feather light. It fits perfectly. I grew up wearing it. It feels like an extension of my body. I have tried expensive watches, replica watches, mechanical watches, all sorts of fancy digital and LED fashion watches and I don't want to put any of them on any more. Every day I just reach for this and never get bored of looking at it because it brings back good memories.
I bought a backup as well the last time I saw it in Wal-Mart for $20 in Dec. Timex has a retro Indiglo line as well but those watches always broke on me as a kid which is why I always went back to the Casio. The only thing I would change is swapping the green LED in the corner (yes it's lit by a corner LED that doesn't even light up the whole screen like the good ol' days) with a yellow one as I seem to recall my childhood watch having a yellow light.
