Great. But decisions shouldn't be made based solely on satisfying fan's desires. Decisions should be made based on what is best for our young players. If we want Baertschi to develop into a star then letting him dominate the AHL and get his game back there is probably the best thing for him long term.
The trade deadline will come and we will likely deal a lot of these losers. At that point we will see the best young players in Abby. I know it's going to be painful between now and then but there's no point rushing the process.
In fact you can argue it may hurt the kids to have more of them up here right now learning how to lose. Hopefully Monahan isn't affected by it. I'd rather have the kids in Abby playing together and developing together. But of course I'm not a STH this year.
